2009 Lincoln MKZ Overview
Introduction
Lincoln's entry-level MKZ has dynamic American luxury styling with features only found on cars costing thousands more.
The MKZ is powered by a 263-hp 3.5-liter V6 with a six-speed automatic transmission, and is offered in both front and all-wheel drive. Standard features include leather heated/cooled power driver and passenger seats, LED brakelights, 17" alloy wheels, satellite radio and electronic climate control. Standard safety features include side-impact air bags in front; curtain-style head protection airbags for all outboard positions; traction and stability control, anti-lock brakes, and rear parking sensors.
The 2009 MKZ is unchanged from last year, other than the addition of four new paint colors and standard stability control.
NHTSA Frontal Crash Test
NHTSA rates crash-tested vehicles by assigning them one to five stars, with five stars indicating the most injury protection and one star indicating the least protection.
