2007 Lincoln MKX Overview
Introduction
The Lincoln MKX is a cross-over vehicle that is the replacement for the Aviator.
The MKX can seat five passengers. It offers a glass-paneled roof call the Vista Roof as an option. It is powered by a 265 hp 3.5-liter V-6 that puts torque to the ground via front- or all-wheel drive. It is only available in a six-speed automatic. Standard safety features include four-wheel antilock brakes, side-impact front-seat airbags and side curtain airbags.
The Lincoln MKX is brand new for 2007.
The MKX, which debuted in 2007, is Lincolns first entry into the ever-growing luxury cross-over segment.
The five passenger MKX is powered by a 265 hp 3.5-liter V-6 that puts power to the ground via a six-speed automatic and front- or all-wheel drive. Standard safety features include four-wheel antilock brakes, six airbags, electronic stability control with roll control, rear parking sensors and tire pressure monitoring. Optional luxury features on the MKX include a large glass-paneled sunroof called Vista Roof, heated rear seats, navigation system, rear entertainment system and a THX II certified audio system.
For 2008, the Lincoln MKX adds more standard features including heated and cooled front seats with power lumbar and driver memory, SYNC communication/entertainment system, satellite radio, auto-dimming driver side exterior mirror and three new exterior colors.

All the usual luxury features are standard, such as dual-zone auto climate control, genuine wood trim, leather trim, heated and cooled front seats and an integrated garage door opener. For those that want even more, optional features include a large glass-paneled sunroof called VistaRoof, heated rear seats, navigation system, rear entertainment system, 20 and 22-inch wheels, and a THX II certified audio system.
For 2010, there are several exterior color changes, and integrated blind spot mirrors are now standard.
