2009 Lincoln MKS Overview
Introduction
The Lincoln MKS is an all-new vehicle for 2009. It has been designed to capture the attention of a younger demographic by focusing its overall design to be very clean and elegant.
The MKS is a luxury sedan with the choice of either front-wheel or all-wheel drive. Power comes from a 3.7-liter V6 engine, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with Select-Shift. Standard features include LED tail lamps, premium heated/cooled seats, heated rear seats, HID headlamps, and SYNC hands-free communications and entertainment system. Standard safety features include six airbags, four-wheel disc brakes with ABS, brake assist, traction control, stability control, and a post crash alert system.
The Lincoln MKS is brand-new for 2009.

NHTSA rates crash-tested vehicles by assigning them one to five stars, with five stars indicating the most injury protection and one star indicating the least protection.
