The Lexus GS 430 is the top of the line among the GS series of vehicles, Lexus' sports sedan series. It offers power, refinement, luxury, and a technologically enhanced driving experience.
It is standard with a rear-wheel-drive drive train and also available to grip the road with Lexus' first all-wheel-drive system in a passenger car. Power is delivered to the wheels via a close-ratio six speed automatic transmission with a semiautomatic sequential manual shift mode, with gear changes made via a lever in the center console. Standard features include leather-trimmed, heated front seats with 10-way power adjustment; SmartAccess keyless entry and a pushbutton starter; a premium sound system with both CD and DVD capability; Bluetooth wireless telephone technology; and a 7-inch multi-information touch screen for easy access to a wide range of information and commands. Options include a steering-sensitive Park Assist system, a navigation system and rear backup camera, a one-touch open/close moonroof, ventilated front seats, and a power rear sunshade.
For 2006, the GS 300 has been completely restyled from the ground up.
