This is a great car, smooth ride and very stylish. The looks are much improved over the previous GS model and the car performs well and has alot of "giddyup."

Between my wife and I this is our 5th Lexus, first brand new one. Our car before this was a 98 GS300, so we wanted to "upgrade" to the latest greatest. The leather and seating position is excellent, along with wind noise is very little and all controls in the car work flawless. A/C is almost instant along with the heat being quick to temperature. The flip-down style control panel hides all the not used everyday buttons but it contains buttons we use everytime driving the car and it is annoying flipping the little console down to pop the trunk or to lower the rear sunshade. Don't forget to flip it back up or you'll smack your legs or my wife ripped one of her dresses. Few of the negatives are the run flat tires flat spot overnight and take 3-4 miles before smoothing out. Really annoying in a near 50k car to have the steering wheel shake with friends in the car going out to eat. The bluetooth connection cannot be shut off after the car is started and put in gear so if your phone connects tough luck and you blow everyone out of the car when it rings. The fuel injection is SOOOOOO loud on this car. At idle it sounds like a bad a/c compressor clutch. This is "normal" from Lexus dealer and all the new models have this type of fuel injection. Too bad, maybe why the rating has gone down on their overall product. If you change your own oil, the new oil paper filter system is not traditional but once you figure where it is and how to drain it, you can save a $100 doing it yourself. Would we buy another GS or Lexus? With better tires and different fuel injection (quieter like old Lexus) yes we would. If we had to buy the same car we would look at Acura or BMW. Sorry Lexus we are trying to remain faithful but when we have a 99 ES300 daily driver that rides smoother and quieter than a new car costing 4 times its value its time for Lexus to say maybe we need to look at our current production and fix the problems.
