2008 Land Rover LR2 Overview
Introduction
The Land Rover LR2 is an entry-level luxury SUV designed to provide superior off-road capabilities and classic Land Rover creature comforts.
Power comes from a 230-hp, 3.2-liter inline six cylinder engine that is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and a permanent all-wheel drive system with Land Rover's unique "Terrain Response" system. The LR2 seats five passengers with standard luxury features such as leather seating, panoramic sunroof, Alpine audio system and dual-zone climate control. Standard safety features include four-wheel anti-lock brakes, stability control with roll mitigation, seven airbags, front and rear fog lights and raining sensing wipers.
The Land Rover LR2 is all new for 2008 and takes the place of the Freelander as the lowest priced vehicle in the Land Rover family.
