2006 Kia Sorento Overview
Introduction
The Kia Sorento is a mid-size SUV that packs a big V6 engine. On the road or off, it is nimble and comfortable.
The Sorento is available in LX and EX trims. It is able to seat five passengers comfortably and comes in either rear- or four-wheel drive. It is powered by a 192 hp 3.5-liter V-6 that is mated to a five-speed Sportmatic automatic transmission or a five-speed manual. It is rated to tow up to 3,500lbs when properly equipped and has a switch to turn on and off the part-time four-wheel drive. Safety features include four-wheel disc brakes and side-curtain airbags. There are also optional anti-lock brakes.
The Kia Sorento is a carryover from 2005.
