Kia Optima EX V6 over 130,000 miles!
I bought the car new in 2004 and it had maybe 80 miles on it. I bought the car from Augusta Kia. Never thought about buying a Kia before, but the ride was really plush compared to my then 2003 Chevy Cavalier. I just replaced the timing belt for the first time and the shop said it was in fairly good condition. The water pump and thermostat was replaced also. The manager at the shop said the water pump was a lot bigger than the Sonata of the same year?, thereby being better. I'll take her word for it. The only problem I have is the rear defogger (or de-icer) is not working, that may be because the car was in a side collision or because I had tint installed, either way it's not a defect in my opinion. Had the struts replaced at 75,000 miles and made the car as smooth as new. Replaced the front brakes about the same time and again at about 125,000 miles. Also replaced the battery at at about 129,000 miles. The car unlock receiver was replaced under warranty and I guess the only issue I have is the driver side lock has to be manually unlocked- key fob has to be cycled several times in order to unlock? Odd, but at ************** opens. Not bad for a car that just usually gets oil changes every 10,000 miles! I love the car it has proven to be the most reliable car I've owned.

I bought my Kia as a used car. It has been a very reliable car. But the downfall is the road noise.
