The Kia Optima Hybrid is a four-door sedan that uses a gasoline engine and electric motor combination designed to improve efficiency.
The Optima Hybrid uses a 2.4-liter gas engine and electric motor which produce a combined 206-hp. Power is sent to the front wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission. , Safety features include traction control, stability control, anti-lock brakes with brake assist, curtain airbags, whiplash preventing headrests and more. The hybrid has a unique grille, projector headlights, LED taillights, front and rear fascia designs, sculpted side sills, and low rolling resistance tires. Interior accommodations include smart key with push button start, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, power windows, cruise control, cloth power driver's seat and more.
The Optima Hybrid continues for 2012 with minimal changes.
