2010 Kia Forte Koup
2010 Kia Forte Koup Owner Reviews
- Exterior Styling
- Interior Comfort
- Quality & Durability
I bought my SX in blue with 12 miles on the odometer in May of last year. I definietely do a lot of driving as I was a student at the time and working 2 part-time jobs, so I wanted something comfortable, sporty and cost-effective, but not low-rent. I've owned the car for a little over a year now and have over 27,000 miles on it (moved from FL to TN) and the only gripe I have is that the carpet in the footwells kept lifting up by the gas pedal. It's been fixed a couple times, but otherwise, I am always complemented on how good the car looks and how cool the features are. I definitely never needed heated leather seats in FL, but am glad I took the option since I moved north. The stereo is decent and I love the fact that SIRIUS works anywhere. I definitely use bluetooth religiously as it's so simple to pair with my iPhone and the call quality is great as long as the windows are closed. The 6-speed manual doesn't shift as smooth in the winter, but I assume that's not a brand-specific problem? My gas mileage would be better if I didn't have a lead foot, but 26 city and 29-33 highway is still better than some of my friends' cars. My mother's 2010 Corolla is much softer, but feels cheaper in terms of interior quality and driving dynamics when compared to my car and surprisingly, even though the Koup has frameless windows, there is considerably less wind noise in it than the Corolla. Of course, everyone knows how long the Kia warranty is, but I was offered a service plan at my dealer and took it - now I don't pay out of pocket for any service/oil-change/tire rotation, etc. Kinda like BMW but without the loaner car.
Review of 2010 Kia Forte Koup
Got the car in Jan. 2010, love it . Very sporty looking, get complements every where I go. I did a crazy thing and covered up the Kia name in front and back, and people are constantly asking what type of car do I have. Gets 38mpg. highway, 22mpg around town. The ride is a little stiff and you feel bumps but all in all it's great.
2010 Forte Koup SX SWEET!
I bought the 2010 Forte Koup SX in titanium color. I like this car, it is great for a Kia. The price is wonderful for all the options and the warranty can not be beat. I have 2 daughters, 11 and 7 and they fit great in the back. We drovce it 2500 miles and had no problem, no road noise and it was smooth. No need for modifications, it is perfect. The gas mileage is average 34. That is what we needed it for. The suspension is a little rough, but what do you expect for a Kia.
A Lot of Car for the Money
So far I am absolutely thrilled with my Forte Koup. It has so many options from cruise to tilt to bluetooth and it's fun and sporty to boot. I don't think you can buy a more equipped vehicle for the money. This is my second Kia and I have to say there is A LOT of value and benefit from these cars.
