The car is beautiful that's a given, the comfort level is fine, the power is strong BUT it rides like a truck, nothing like the last 3 Jag.s I owned and at 1st I was impressed with the entire package now after driving it for 600 miles the ride stinks. Too rough you feel every bump and crack in the road. As far as this English sound syster with 1200 watts, you need to crank up the sound to enjoy it with that kinf of wattage you shoud hear everything at a low sound level. The change is nice but to change just for the sake of change is not good. Overall the car is good if you're 5 foot 9 , the features are many but none of them are tothe point od sayoing they are great. I drove a Hundai that had a better massage feature than the Jag. This just might be my last Jag. 85,000 and there are flaws, most of the professional reviewers mus thave been paid to write the review , "a smooth ride" what a joke. THsi car is for the 30 somethings not for adults, unless you need to be knocked around while driving.

I recently took delivery of a 2011 Jaguar XJL, ultimate black with london tan interior. I have owned 6 Lexus vehicles in the past, the last one being a LS 460. This car is definatley more nimble and feels like it has a lot more road feel than the LS. It also seems to be getting better gas mileage by at least 20%. I would say the interior fit and finish is equal to the Lexus. Where this car blows away the Lexus is on its exterior styling. This vehicle gets long looks and comments everywhere I go. This car is just fun to have. Would I ever go back to Lexus. If they came out with something new and exciting I certainly would take a look. However, for under 100K right now this seems to be the car to own.

A long wait for this car

I ordered this vehicle sight unseen in August of 2009. I was told it would be available in January. Then it became March, and now it is June and the car still has not been delivered. They said there were some software problems and they wanted to make sure that there were no issues with the car before they released it. Well, thus far its been 3 months. The dealership has been apologetic. Obviously this is not their fault. The reviews on the vehicle have been excellent, but they delay has to give one pause.
