Stepping away from the traditional Jaguar design, the XF is Jaguar's new four-door sports sedan with a fresh modern look.
The XF comes in four trims: Base, Premium, Supercharged and XFR. The Base model is powered by a 300-hp 4.2-liter V8 engine. The Premium model receives 385-hp from a new 5.0-liter V8. The Supercharged and XFR models add a supercharger to the new 5.0-liter V8 to produce 470-hp on the XF Supercharged and a whopping 510-hp for the XFR. All engines send power to the rear wheels via a new 6-speed automatic transmission featuring Jaguar Sequential Shift and steering wheel mounted paddle shifters. Safety features for all models include dual-stage front, seat-mounted side and side-impact curtain airbags, active head restraints, and a tire pressure monitoring system. Standard equipment on Base model includes keyless start, voice-activated navigation, heated leather front seats, six-disc in-dash CD changer and Sirius satellite radio. In addition to Base model content, the Premium model includes Bi-Xenon headlights, blind spot monitor, front and rear parking aid with camera and cooled front seats. Building on the XF Premium content, both XF Supercharged and XFR standard features include adaptive dynamics and active differential control, a heated steering wheel, rear window sunblind and a 400-watt sound system with HD radio. The XF Supercharged includes 16-way power driver and 12-way power passenger seats, while the XKR standard features now include 18-way power driver and 14-way power passenger seats.
For 2010, the Base model receives standard voice-activated navigation, heated front seats, six-disc in-dash CD changer and Sirius satellite radio. The Premium model receives standard Bi-Xenon headlights, blind spot monitor, front and rear parking aid with camera, cooled front seats, six-disc in-dash CD changer and Sirius satellite radio. The XFR trim is new for 2010.
