The Infiniti QX56 was designed to be a full-size SUV for towing a heavy trailer, hauling seven passengers in luxurious comfort, and tackling some serious off-road conditions.
The QX56 offers seating for seven or eight and is rated to tow 8,900-9,000 pounds. It comes standard with the latest in electronic stability control, traction control and ABS technology. It is available as one fully loaded model. You need only choose between two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. The 5.6-liter V8 is rated at a 315 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque, and the transmission is a five-speed automatic. The four-wheel-drive system includes a low range.
The Infiniti QX56 is a carryover from 2006.
NHTSA rates crash-tested vehicles by assigning them one to five stars, with five stars indicating the most injury protection and one star indicating the least protection.
