2013 Infiniti JX35
2013 Infiniti JX35 Owner Reviews
- Exterior Styling
- Interior Comfort
- Quality & Durability
I would never recommend this car to no one!
First - I drove my car for 3000 miles,I never saw more than 16MPG mixed driving on ECO mode (which feels like youre driving through molasses) and less than 20 on freeway,it is stated 18/20/23, street/mixed/freeway. Second-when driven the car makes such a noise, like you are on helicopter. Third - not the whole seating area is heated and cooled as stated. Fourth - there is 7 seats, but the ones on second and third row are for kids only and if you are planing to go to a trip - there will be no storage room for your baggage. Fifth - the "leather" if you can call it leather is so cheap. Sixth -The rear view is crowded by the headrests in both rows of back seats, and the huge rear pillars make shoulder checking quite a task. Good thing for the blind spot monitoring system. There is more minuses than pluses in that car. I can't wait untii I find a buyer and get rid of it.
Excellent Family Car
I bought this car last week. After test driving one of the models; I proceeded to do all of my research on the internet, contacted a few Infiniti dealerships negotiated the best deal, and had the car delivered to my house. The car did not disappoint, it is roomy, classy and very comfortable to drive. It may take us a few years to learn all the technology options included but I could not of been happier with the purchase. The only other car we were considering was the Volvo XC90; because of the week reviews and the lack of technology offered even in the fully equip packages, we went with the JX35. Bottom line this is excellent for families with the access to the third row with a large car seat still strapped in.
My wife and I took delivery of one of the second JX35 in the city. We chose the vehicle over the MDX due to the styling, 3rd row seat access, and interior. Our model was fully equipped with the emerald graphite exterior and java brown interior. The combination looks very luxurious and breaks up the grey monochromatic look. Purchase Experience: Since this is a brand new vehicle, we actually took delivery before the salespeople were trained by Infiniti on the ins and outs of the vehicle. There were a few miscommunications and unknowns that were understandable; however, the sales staff made a tremendous effort to work out the kinks and help in any way we could. We are still waiting on the roof rails that are scheduled to be sent from the factory in the next few weeks and installed by the dealer. Exterior: There is no doubt that the exterior styling sets the vehicle apart from its competitors. The vehicle looks far better in person than it does in the photos. It looks very distinctly Infiniti, and should appeal to both women and men. The alloy wheels are aggressive looking and window tinting is darker than it appears. Access: My wife is 54 and can easily access the vehicle without running boards. The driver sits high in the seat with good viability all around. The access to the 3rd row without having to take out the child seats is a major positive. We have a 2yo and 4yo, so even with the seats attached; a normal adult could squeeze in behind the 2nd row without too much trouble. Performance: Ill think the all of the negatives with regard to the performance and the CVT are overblown. The vehicle isnt going to win any rally races, but the performance is sufficient, and I have yet to feel wanting for more performance. Quirky things: The emergency SOS button is easily mistaken for the overhead drivers light. The rear tail gate does not clear anyone over 61 tall. The electronics packages are incredible, but it may take a decade to learn everything. One thing is that each key fob can be synced to each drive and adjust seat and mirror settings when you approach car. Overall: recommended.
