2006 Hyundai Tiburon Overview
Introduction
Enjoyable performance, attractive pricing, and good build quality make the Hyundai Tiburon a compelling choice among sport coupes.
The Tiburon is available in four models: the 138 hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder GS, and the 172 hp 2.7-liter V6-powered GT, GT Limited, and SE. The four-cylinder engine is offered with a standard five-speed manual or optional four-speed Shiftronic automatic transmission. A five-speed manual transmission is standard with the V6 on the GT and GT Limited; a four-speed automatic is optional. For the SE a six-speed manual transmission is standard. All four models enjoy a comprehensive list of standard features. Among them: side-impact airbags; heated mirrors; keyless entry with alarm; 16-inch alloy wheels; four wheel disc brakes; body-colored rear spoiler and dual chrome-tipped exhaust outlets.
For 2006, the Hyundai Tiburon receives some option package changes and there's a new GT Limited model.
