I bought my white 3.8 Track model at the end of April, and have loved every minute of it. I have nothing bad to say about the car, it is quick, responsive, and handles like a dream. The fun factor of driving this car is increased by the Shiftronic transmission and the paddle shifters, which I always use when merging on the freeway. The XM/iPod/6-CD changer are great, I haven't listened to a regular radio station since I got the car! The car gets a lot of attention, and I get lots of compliments on it. My husband is qute tall (6'5") and it's a bit of a tight fit for him, but he enjoys driving the car so much that his slight discomfort is easily overlooked.
Keeping it real!!
Purchased my 2010 Genesis Coupe (V-6, Track, 3.8) during the first week of June 2009. Absolutely love it except for the uncomfortable headrests. They will drive you crazy on a long trip. Everyone stops and asks questions about it and wants to see the inside and it makes me proud to be the owner of this gorgeous piece of metal. I've gotten so many compliments until I know I made a great choice (if the headrests don't kill me). The XM radio, Ipod hookup and speaker system are to die for. Even with the way I care about my car, I feel a little cheated because I had to purchase my own chrome for the front of the car and cannot get the lighted floor panel for inside the doors because the Track isn't wired for it although it is suppose to be top of the line and costs more. I would highly recommend this vehicle even with the few defects. I'm still working on getting something done with the headrests???????? Maybe Hyundai will have a recall because of them, ya think? Congratulations Genesis' owners and be safe and proud!

2010 Genesis Couope...... It is so ho tand Sexy!
I just took delivery of a red automatic Hyundai Genesis Coupe two days ago. I bought it at Burns Hyundai in Marlton, NJ. I have owned and driven many "hot cars" in my 42 years of of driving: 1973 Grand Prix,19896 GTO, 57 Belair 283 Convertble, 58 Bonnevile, 1974 Stingray, a 911 3 Millenia S and on and on. Guess what? This car is nothing other than a pure adolescent rush. Even with the basic 210 4 cylinder turbo engine and 5 speed automaticit has ample acceleration, i.e. enough to put your back on the seat. I was doing 95 today and not eventrying to speed, this car just says let's go!! The dual exhausts are tastfully tuned to rumble and back down in a beefy note. Handing? Well last night I was driving much faster than I should arounf a local 1/4 mile loop and it just held on like Gorilla Glue. The sound syetm is superb. It comes with Sirius installed free for 3 months. By accident I turned on a rap station and the car sounded like one of those amped up boom cars,(not that I liked it) but wow there is a really a lot to be heard. For the money I paid $21,000 it is the best deal in many years.
This car looks great and drives great!
Although I just got this car, I can tell already it is going to be a fun yet dependable car. It is a headturner, that's for sure! The Genesis Coupe is a new concept for Hyundai, and it actually looks like the Infinity G35, but without the price! There are so many features that are standard and I haven't even learned them all! I am glad that I upgraded to the Premium, because I love a sunroof and I know I would have regretted not having one. This car has a lot of pep and will accelerate from 0 to 60 in no time...So far I cannot say anything negative, other than the back seat area is small, but I didn't buy this car to haul people around - this car is strictly for me (ok, I will let my husband use it too!) I bought the Acqu Minerale color which is a beautiful baby blue, and the interior is a really nice cloth pattern, quite different from anything else I have ever seen. I like that it does not get hot, the way leather does in this hot weather we are having right now. The sound system is fabulous, and since I never had sirius radio before, it is like having a new toy! They give it for 3 months free, but I definitely will pay for it at the end of the free period. The warranty is really excellent, and I get 5 years roadside assistance for free.....That is about a $250 savings right there if I was paying for AAA, not to mention good peace of mind. Try taking this car for a test drive...you will see how awesome it is!
love my car
I have had my car for a little over 3 months and so far the only problem I have had is when they rotated my tires with an oil change. It runs terrific and has the pick up and go that I love. You don't realize how fast you are acturally going until you look at the speedometer. It is a great car and would recommend it to everyone.
Tinny cheap trash
not much to look at rattles a bit
This car is the most awesome thing I have ever driven. Had it for a month and a half already has 3500 miles. It really has lots of pickup and will haul butt, it corners and brakes awesome. I do not have anything bad to say about this car. My 4 cylinder with the Turbo gets me 25-26mpg most the time on rural backroads and 23-25 in city. It is very comfortable in the front even for tall people. The back seat is very limited though.
