Review of 2012 Honda Civic
My biggest disappointment with this vehicle is the pronounced hesitation trying to accelerate while traveling in a parking lot. This car will not come to life upon acceleration if you are traveling around 8mph. It seems that Honda was so pushed to increase the gas mileage, that the transmission shifts very quickly and locks out so that it takes a long delay to reaccelerate from the 7-9 mph range. This was never the case with my previous 2001 Honda Civic.
Can't believe it!
I have the LX Sedan with auto,econ assist ,nitro-filled,high mileage tires. The ride hugs the rode and is quite and smooth. Got up to 46.5mpg with no air.level road,and eco-assist. I've been averging 41.7 hwy and city. It has more power than past Hondas. Seats are very comfortable. Has all the safety features and more. We love the idea of lowering our carbon footprint with its almost non-existant carbon emissions.We figure we are saving six gallons a fillup. That's over $600/yr. We get over 520…
