2006 Honda CR-V Overview

Introduction

The Honda CR-V is roomy, convenient and easy to drive. It has a large cargo capacity, it rides smoothly, is surprisingly maneuverable, handles well, and is stable at freeway speeds.

The CR-V comes with a 156 hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine and a choice of front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. A five-speed automatic or manual transmission are available. Three trim levels are available, LX, EX, SE. It offers 72.0 cubic feet of cargo space with the back seats folded, 33.5 cubic feet with the rear seats in place. Safety features that come standard on all CR-Vs include frontal and side-impact air bags, anti-lock brakes and Vehicle Stability Assist with traction control.

The Honda CR-V gets a minor refresh for 2010, including an increase in engine output (14 additional horsepower), restyled front and rear bumpers, and a new grille.
