2003 Honda Accord EXL
This is my 4th Honda Accord and 6th Honda that I have owned. The car now has over 108,000 miles and the only problem that we have had has been a radio recall issue that was addressed by Honda for free in 2008. I see no reason why this car can't reach 200,000 miles. We average 25 miles per gallon in commuter driving and 32 miles per gallon on long trips. We'll eventually hand this vehicle over to our teenaged son and purchase another Honda.
Love this car
So i have had my accord since day one and mile 3, now it has over 125,000 miles and still runs great.. I had problems with the transmission at about 60,000 but honda fixed it and it has been good ever since. I would highly recommend this car to anyone
EX - fancy package - Best car ever owned
160,000 mi, Honda replaced transmission at 62,000mi -even with no warranty left-otherwise no problems - 33 mpg, excellent in snow/ice. Quiet, lots of power, comfortable, hoping for 250-300,000 mi. Honda Service outstanding. Drive for work - >400+mi/wk - back country roads. Lots of space for hauling supplies for home restoration.
love the car u got to get 1
this is a wonderful car i love it a had owned a mercades c class a mercades s class a 94 accord a97 accord v6 a bmw 745 a jetta gli v6 a toyoata camry 2004 v6 and a lexus is 250 and out of all of those i like my 2003 honda accord ex-l-v6-w/navi i paid 36000 thousand 4 it and it was worth every penny penny it drives like a benz s430 (i know b cause i had 1) shifts nicley and the voice control touch scereen navi in my opinion is easier to use than the c class`s i recomend the v6 beacause of the ride but if you need 2 u caN end up with the 2.4 l4 but it is louder the leather comes with seat heaters and power seats but in conluusio i did have to take the car in for a windshield wiper recall and that is the negativity to expect from a used 1.
2003 Honda Accord - Problems

I am the original (adult) owner of a 2003 Honda Accord EX V6, 4 door sedan and have experienced several problems. Almost immediately, I noticed that the car pulled to the right. Despite several trips back to the dealer, the problem was never permanently resolved by Honda. An internet check revealed that many other 2003 accord owners reported similar problems, but Honda never formally admitted this defect. I eventually learned to live with the problem. I also received a recall notice for the transmission, and had to take the car back for a retrofit. At 70K miles, the stereo head unit display went out. Honda has since issued a recall for this. At 85K miles, my brake light and TRS lights stayed on. Dealer said it's due to a defective sensor in Master Cylinder. The sensor alone cannot be replaced, so I must buy a new Master Cylinder for $400 (not to mention $90 to diagnose the problem). My next car will be a Toyota.
