2010 GMC Terrain Overview
Introduction
The 2010 GMC Terrain is a boldly styled five-passenger crossover SUV engineered with excellent fuel economy in mind.
The Terrain is powered by a pair of all-aluminum direct injection engines, one is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder with 182-hp, the other is a 3.0-liter V-6 with 264-hp. Both are mated to a six-speed automatic that helps to maximize efficiency. Buyers can choose between either a front-wheel or all-wheel drive system, depending on which meets their needs. Standard safety features include four-wheel anti-lock brakes with electronic stability and traction control, six airbags, OnStar, tire pressure monitoring and a security system. Available technology features include a rearview camera, power liftgate, Bluetooth phone capability, remote vehicle start, seven-inch touch screen navigation with 40-gigabyte hard drive with USB connectivity, MP3 playback and XM satellite radio.
The Terrain is all-new for 2010 and is built alongside its sister the Chevrolet Equinox in the joint GM/Suzuki CAMI assembly plant.
