2007 GMC Sierra 1500 Classic Overview
Introduction
The Sierra 1500 Classic is the older 2006 model full-size truck carried over into 2007 and renamed 'Classic' to distinguish it from the fully redesigned Sierra.
The 1500 Classic is a half-ton full-size truck. It is the only Classic that offers the Denali luxury trim level. As a regular cab model it can seat up to three passengers. Extended cab models can carry up to six passengers. Engine choices for the 1500 Classic include: 195 hp 4.3-liter V-6, a 285 hp 4.8-liter V-8 and a 295 hp 5.3-liter V-8. The 5.3-liter V-8 can be equipped to run E85 fuel and an aluminum variant of the 5.3-liter V-8 can make 310 hp. The Denali luxury trim comes with a more powerful 345 hp 6.0-liter V-8. There is a choice between a five-speed manual and a four-speed automatic.
The GMC Sierra 1500 Classic is a carryover from 2006.
NHTSA Frontal Crash Test
