2003 GMC Savana Overview

Introduction

The GMC Savana is the largest cargo and passenger van produced by the company. They come in regular and extended lengths.

All Savanas come standard with 16-inch wheels, four-wheel disc brakes and dual-front airbags. Savana passenger vans can seat up to 8 people. The Savana has the option of four different engines: a 200 hp or 190 hp @ 4400rpm 4.3-liter V-6, a 270 hp @ 5200rpm 4.8-liter V-8, a 285 hp @ 5200rpm 5.3-liter V-8, and a 300 hp @ 4400rpm 6.0-liter V-8. The Savanas come in rear and all-wheel drive and are equipped with a 4-speed automatic transmission with tow/haul mode. Optional features include reclining front bucket seats with inboard armrests and ETR AM/FM stereo with CD player/seek and scan.

For 2003, the GMC Savana receives some changes.
