2010 GMC Savana 2500 Overview

Introduction

GMC's rear-wheel drive Savana 2500 passenger and cargo vans provide a rugged and durable means of transporting several passengers or a large payload of cargo.

The Savana 2500 passenger van features a 135-inch wheelbase, while the cargo van is available with a 135-inch or a 155-inch wheelbase. There are three available engines for the Savana 2500 lineup: a Vortec 4.8-liter FlexFuel V8, a Vortec 6.0-liter FlexFuel V8, and a Duramax Diesel 6.6-liter V8. All of the engines are teamed with a six-speed automatic transmission. Passenger vans are available in LS or LT trim, can accommodate up to 8 passengers and offer several convenient options. Cargo vans ave available in Work Van or Upfitter trim and provide an excellent base for a multi-purpose utility vehicle that can be equipped to suit your comfort needs, or modified for your workplace requirements.

For 2010, a 6-speed automatic transmission becomes standard equipment, the 4.8-liter and 6-0-liter V8 engines become flexible fuel, and a remote engine starter is available.
