2004 GMC Envoy XL Overview

Introduction

The GMC Envoy XL is a versatile, sophisticated, and highly capable SUV.

The Envoy XL provides seating for up to seven passengers in three rows of comfortable seats. The Envoy XL is available in SLE and SLT trims with a choice of 2 or 4-wheel drive. The SLE and SLT trims come with a standard 4.2L I-6 engine, which produces 275 hp @ 6000 rpm and 275 lb-ft @ 3600 rpm, and a 4-speed automatic transmission. However, customers have the option of choosing a bigger, more powerful 5.3L V-8 engine, which outputs 290 hp @ 5200 rpm and 325 lb-ft @ 4000 rpm. Safety features on the Envoy XL include dual-front airbags and 4-wheel disc brakes. Optional on all trims are: leather heated driver and front passenger seats, 8-way power seat adjustment, and a rear seat DVD entertainment system.

The 2004 GMC Envoy XL carries over from 2003 with little change.
