2010 Ford Transit Connect Overview
Introduction
The 2010 Transit Connect is Ford's new award winning entry into the small commercial van segment. Combining flexibility, functionality, and reliability, the Transit Connect presents a unique and versatile answer to the business owner who needs a vehicle for delivery, service, or small work crews.
Available as a van or wagon, the front-wheel drive Transit Connect is powered by a 138-hp 2.0-liter Duratec four-cylinder engine, matched with a four-speed automatic transmission. Sliding rear and split-opening back doors are available with or without windows. The two-seater van and four- or five-seater wagon come in XL and XLT trims. Standard features include front and side airbags, anti-lock brakes, front cloth bucket seats, a low maintenance vinyl floor behind the front seats, and full 180° opening back doors. XLT trims add power locks, windows, exterior mirrors and remote keyless entry. Roll Stability Control® is optional on vans, standard on wagons.
The 2010 Ford Transit Connect is a completely new vehicle.
