2008 Ford Taurus X Overview

Introduction

The Ford Taurus X is a crossover vehicle that combines space-conscious and people-friendly packaging with a powerful modern powertrain that delivers performance and efficiency.

The Taurus X is available in front- or all-wheel drive, and is powered by a 263-hp 3.5-liter V6 engine that is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The Taurus X can seat up to seven-passengers. Standard safety features include LED brakelights, traction control, electronic stability control, ABS, six airbags, including curtain airbags for all three rows of seating.

For 2008, the Ford Taurus X is a renamed and refreshed Ford Freestyle with a more powerful engine and more standard equipment.
