The 2005 Ford GT is Ford's supercar built to reminisce about the 1960's Ford Le Mans race victories. As a mid-engined performance vehicle, the GT is built for the supercar enthusiast.
The Ford GT is meant to be a no-frills speed machine, but it is actually quite comfortable and driver friendly. The engine is a high-tech, supercharged, midship-mounted, 5.4-liter V8 making a truly scintillating 550 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque. It comes with a six-speed manual transaxle. Options include air conditioning, AM/FM/CD/MP3 two-speaker stereo, tilt-and-telescope steering wheel, power windows, seats and mirrors, abundant leather trim, keyless remote, and textured rubber floormats.
For 2005, the Ford GT is a new model. It is brand new from the wheels up.
