The 2008 Ford Explorer Sport Trac is an Explorer with a pickup bed, this midsize SUV-pickup provides cargo versatility and rugged utility.

The Sport Trac is a four-door, five-passenger, midsize pickup available in rear-wheel, four-wheel, or all-wheel drive. Two trim levels, the XLT and the Limited, are powered by a 210 hp 4.0-liter V6 engine with five-speed automatic transmission or a 292 hp 4.6-liter V8 engine with a six-speed automatic transmission. With the more powerful engine the Sport Trac can tow up to 7160 pounds. Advance Trac Roll Stability Control, tire pressure monitoring, antilock brakes, and front, side, and Safety Canopy side-curtain airbags are standard safety features. Ford's industry exclusive new Sync hands-free communications and entertainment system is included on Limited, optional on XLT.

The 2008 Ford Explorer Sport Trac includes interior updates, improved safety features, and modified options packages.
