2006 Ford Escape Owner Reviews

<p>I own a 2006 Ford Escape Hybrid and I couldn&#39;t be happier with its performance. It runs very efficiently and smoothly, exchanging from gas engine to electric motor without notice. Gas mileage is good. I average about 30 mpg, but I do a lot of highway driving (better mpg with city driving.) This is the third Escape that I&#39;ve had and it is byfar the best one yet. <p>This is my 2nd Escape - both leased. This one is a 3year lease. The first was a 6cyl and I was disappointed with the mpg but realize I have a bit of a heavy foot from a full stop. This one is a 4cyl and the mpg is much better - I average 24/25 mpg with a combination of country/city driving. I live in a rural area with frequent trips to the city The slower pickup doesn&#39;t bother me and reminds me not to step on the gas as hard as I would like to.
