2004 Ford E-250 Overview

Introduction

The Ford E-250 is a full-size rear-wheel drive van designed for cargo hauling.

The E-250 is essentially the larger version of the popular E-150 van and is available 2 trim levels, commercial and recreational. Each trim is available in regular or extended length. Both trims come standard with a 4-speed automatic transmission, and a 4.6L V-8 engine, which produces 225 hp @ 4800 rpm and 286 lb-ft @ 3500 rpm. For extra power there is an optional engine upgrade to a 5.4L V-8 engine, which increases the power output to 255 hp @ 4500 rpm and 350 lb-ft @ 2500 rpm. The E-250 also comes with split swing out rear doors for easy loading.

For 2004, dual front airbags and 4-wheel disc ABS come standard on all trims.
