2002 Ford Crown Victoria Overview
Introduction
The Crown Victoria is Fords Signature large sedan, and one of the best know cars in North America. The versatility of this model have made it a staple in most fleet companies and is often used as a police interceptor, or in taxi services.
Because this car is often customer order to meet specific needs for fleets or luxury customers alike, it is available in a number of trims, we a few engine options to choose from. Ranging from a large 4.6L V-8 with 175hp @ 4,500rpm all the way to a 4.6L V-8 with 235hp @ 4,750rpm, and coming in only automatic transmissions. This model is built on Fords largest passenger car platform, and can comfortably seat 6 passengers. New to the 2002 lineup is the addition of heated side mirrors, and re-vamped interior, including new upholstery and standard floor mats.
