2001 Ford Crown Victoria Overview
Introduction
The Ford Crown Victoria is a rear-wheel drive full-size sedan that offers ample power and a comfortable ride.
For 2001, two trim levels are available on the Crown Victoria: the base model, and the LX. Both trims are powered by a 4.6L V-8 engine, which produces 220 hp @ 4750 rpm and 265 lb.-ft of torque @ 4000 rpm, and a 4-speed automatic transmission. Customer's have the option of upgrading their engine, which boosts its output to 235 hp @ 4750 rpm and 275 lb-ft @ 4000 rpm. Standard features on the Crown Victoria include: dual-stage airbags, power-adjustable pedals, and cruise control. Dual front and back bench seats allow for a seating capacity of six occupants.
