2006 Dodge Sprinter Van 2500 Overview

Introduction

The Dodge Sprinter Van 2500 is a light weight passenger and delivery van. Originally designed to take over for the Ram Van in 2004, the Sprinter has gained much popularity despite being sold primarily as a business vehicle because of its ability to seat many people and provide reasonable fuel economy as a light weight vehicle.

The Sprinter 2500 comes with four doors for passengers or cargo or with two doors as a commercial truck. The vehicle comes equipped with a 2.7-liter turbocharged five cylinder engine with a five speed automatic transmission. It has 154 horsepower and 243 lb-ft of torque. Driver and passenger airbags are standard and side curtain airbags are optional. It comes with antilock breaks and an electronic traction control system.

Changes for 2006 are minimal.
