2005 Dodge SRT4 Overview

Introduction

The Dodge SRT-4 is the performance-enhanced version of the popular Neon, and it delivers an impressive amount of acceleration and power for an affordable price.

The turbocharged 2.4L inline 4-cylinder engine produces 230 hp @ 5300 rpm and 250 lb-ft @ 2200 rpm, which makes the SRT-4 a remarkably fast 4-door sedan. Aside from the vehicle's surprising power, a combination of near-perfect suspension and a husky-sounding exhaust command attention. Though only one trim level and the 5-speed manual transmission are available, one look at the SRT-4 proves that it's definitely not an average Neon. The sporty car has bulging fenders, a prominent (and functional) rear spoiler, and numerous vents and intakes. Interior features include high-bolstered racing inspired seats, aluminum covered petals, and woven leather trim that gives the look of carbon fiber.

New for the 2005 SRT-4 model is the Kicker Livin' Loud audio system which includes a 100-watt subwoofer and a 6-disc CD changer.
