2008 Pacifica: Car of Our Dreams!

We just bought the 2008 Pacifica Touring model. It came so loaded with goodies and at such a good price it was almost like a dream: backup camera, power liftgate, leather seats, GPS system, Infinity system sound system with six speaker, Sirius radio, and CD player, DVD plaer for back rows, Seat warmers, dual and rear seperate temperature controls, and a lot more that I just can't remember. The car is wonderful to drive. You sit up high like an SUV, but it is nimble in the turns and handles easily like a nice sedan. It's better looking than most SUV crossovers, thanks to the ridged hood, classic Chrysler wing emblems and luggage rack. Right now the dealers are offering $2.99 gas for 2 years. This is a good bargain but be careful. They dangle it in front of your eyes to get you to buy, then they advise you to skip it and they will give you a $2,000 rebate. These folks are desperate. They don't want the ones left in inventory. they most likely will build this model anymore. You can get the gas and a rebate if you stand up to them. You may not get the full $2,000 rebate, but you probably can get half plus the gas card. Go for it now before they are all gone!

I've had my Pacifica for 1 year. I leased it because I always have an itch for the "next" new car (usually 18 mo's to 2 1/2 years) but now I've found the car I want to keep. This is the greatest car for my lifestyle. I take at least a dozen long trips each year with & w/out family. It seats 6 adults comfortably (because I have bucket seats on the 2nd row) and even the adults in the last row aren't crowded. I don't have children but I have LARGE dogs! and the auto liftgate is a god-send when dealing with them, groceries, luggage, etc. It handles well. It's comfortable even after many hours. The gas milage is so-so at 17.6 mpg on average but the pluses far away the few negatives. It's beautiful to look at (I have the light blue color in the pic above).

Cheryl S.

I have only had my Pacifica for 3 weeks, but have had to make several long trips. It was wonderful on the road. I would recommend this to anyone with a family or who likes to travel.
