2007 Chrysler Pacifica Overview
Introduction
The Chrysler Pacifica is a crossover vehicle that combines the attributes of sport utilities, wagons and minivans. Chrysler calls the Pacifica a sports tourer, suggesting sport-utility DNA, although it doesn't really look like an SUV crossover.
The Pacifica comes in front- or all-wheel drive and in base, Touring and Limited trim levels. It can seat up to six with an optional third row bench seat. The base trim comes with a 205 horsepower 3.8-liter V-6 with a four-speed automatic transmission. All other trims come with a 255 hp 4.0-liter V-6 with a six-speed automatic transmission. The Pacifica's upgraded standard safety features include: antilock brakes, five airbags and an electronic stability system.
For 2007, the Chrysler Pacifica gets a small exterior update, better safety equipment, a larger V-6 engine and a new six-speed automatic transmission.
NHTSA Frontal Crash Test
NHTSA rates crash-tested vehicles by assigning them one to five stars, with five stars indicating the most injury protection and one star indicating the least protection.
