GREAT CAR!!! Goes well in the snow with good tires. Only recall items fixed. About 22-23 mpg in combo driving. Had leased it, son is buying it. Would loved to have kept it! Had the chrome package. What a practical, stylish, roomy car. Chrysler should continue to produce these. I have no complaints with this car. It is an awesome vehicle. Just got a new 2008 Grand Jeep, which I also love, at a price I could not pass up, so the Pt had to go, but I feel really at ease as my son and his new wife will have a great little car!!!!

I love this car. I spent the whole summer before I bought this PT looking at other vehicles and decided to buy this one in 2004. I didn't want to spend to much in the price and so I chose the basic model so that I could modify it the way I wanted. The after market modification selection is unbelievable. Almost any part you want can be changed the way you like it. Thats why they all look different after a few modifications.

In 2005 I bought another PT Cruiser (Gold color) and both PT's are always good to go. I have taken both on long trips and always maintain the service needed. The cargo area is hugh, and the seats all fold down and up or can be taken out. Each seat has wheels to roll them like a suitcase when removed. Another great thing about owning one is that you can join a club and there are many out there, always having fun and going on different cruises and events. Plus meet many people who also own a PT Cruiser. The following PT Cruiser Club is out of Rancho Cucamonga where I live. www.rcptcruiserclub.com

PT's dealer and factory support lacking.

Comfortable, rides well, so-so fuel efficiency although synthetic fluids help.

On the other side of the coin, dealer service was virtually nonexistant regarding a rough idle since new. My PT stumbles at lights and occassionally stalls. The dealer (?) claimed they could not duplicate this even though when the service manager sat in it he agreed it was running rough. He and his department manager then claimed that this was designed in! Un huh!

I received no response from Chrysler when I wrote a short response to them regarding this situation.
