2006 Chrysler 300C Review Summaries
What reviewers liked most about the Chrysler 300C:
The dash area may not be as fancy as some other cars in this segment, but its combination of sporty, semi-retro and luxury motifs is effective.
-- Edmunds.com
The 340-horsepower Hemi has to carry 4046 pounds, so it won't run with a Corvette, but it is plenty fast, with a 0-60 time of 6.3 seconds, according to Chrysler.
-- New Car Test Drive
Traction control, electronic stability programs, anti-lock brakes, and electronic brake distribution all improve the driver's ability to control the car.
-- New Car Test Drive
In person, the 300C is a bona fide eye-catcher. It's stately and mature, and yet powerful and compact-looking considering its generous overall length of 196.8 in., on a 120.0-in. wheelbase. Its proportions suggest that the rear wheels are providing the motive force, with a long hood, a nipped tail and bold wheel wells showing off the 18-in. rolling stock.
-- Road & Track
The 300C's interior is a functional yet elegant place, with spaciousness that befits the full-size sedan that it is. Tortoise-shell trim on the steering wheel and shift knob lends a '60s feel; gauges are classy.
-- Road & Track
Best one-liner about the Chrysler 300C:
It's no BMW M5, but it does provide satisfying road-holding for a large, comfortable sedan.
