Faulty Gas Tank, Brakes and Electrical System
Caution words those by GMC CEO in Congress when he admitted tha GM was not taking care of its R&D. My '04 Trailblazer, bought new with 10 miles in the odometer, had its gas tank replaced before the 100 miles mark. Since then problems bacame a nuiscance. Gas leaked at the filter "O" ring that required the hose be replaced. Rattling noise due to loose gas fill tube plastic clamps. Brakes take too long to a full stop even at 35 mph. Had to replace pads at 25k miles and at 55k. Currently it is 70k and seriously considering replacing the rotors with vented type and new calipers. Low headlights went off while driving and had to replace the relay - Local service center reccommended the fuse box replaced. Rear axle rattlling is still a pain in the neck and just cannot figure it. Well, just don't get mugged with this unit if you arrea considering a TB or an Envoy (same thing).
