Great Ride
Not sure what everyone is complaining about.
These vehicles get decent mileage for the size.
They are safer than any of the sub and compact cars.
Mine gets 16 MPG in City, and 20 on Highway at 75 MPH.
I have friends with Jeeps, and other midsize SUV's and their milegage is worse than mine.
Try keeping your tires full, consider full synthetic ooil, an oil additive as well.

I live in a suburb of boston and use this to get to the mountains of New Hampshire. People told us not get such a big car with the price of gas, but we used to have a 2005 one and it was great. Any ways my family, and dog, love our suburban!!!!!!
Best Damn SUV in Texas
Active fuel management is great, this suburban can run on 4 cyl. and get 23 mpg on the interstates hwy.
