As familiar as the family dog, the Chevrolet Suburban maintains the same maximum-size virtues that have kept it a best-seller for so many years. It remains the first choice for anyone who needs to haul six or more people plus their cargo.

The Suburban comes in either rear- or four-wheel drive and can seat up to nine passengers in its three rows of seats. There are three optional engines: an iron-block 320hp 5.3-liter V-8, an all-aluminum 320hp 5.3-liter V-8, and an all-aluminum 355 hp 6.0-liter V-8. They can be equipped to run E85 fuel and have the ability to shut down half of their cylinders to conserve gas. All-disc antilock brakes, traction control and GM's StabiliTrak electronic stability system are standard.

The Chevrolet Suburban is all-new for 2007.
