1999 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Overview
Introduction
The classic mid-sized sedan is back this year, and the 1999 Chevrolet Monte Carlo features a number of performance options that prove why this model has had such staying power in the mid-sized market.
The Monte Carlo is available in two trims, the LS and the sportier Z34 trim. The LS comes fitted with a 3.1L V-6 engine with 160 hp @ 5,200 rpm and the Z34 is equipped with a 3.8L V-6 engine with 200 hp @ 5,200 rpm. Both versions have a 4-speed automatic transmission.
