2008 Chevrolet Express Overview

Introduction

Chevrolet's Express passenger and cargo vans represent a rugged and durable means of transporting several passengers or a large payload of cargo.

There are six available engines for the Express lineup. A Vortec 4.3-liter V6, a 4.8-liter V8, a 5.3-liter V8, a 6.0-liter V8, a Duramax Diesel 6.6-liter V8, and an E85 FlexFuel Vortec 5.3-liter V8 engine. All of the engines are teamed with a four-speed automatic transmission. The Express passenger and cargo vans are available as a rear-wheel drive or as an all-wheel drive model in the regular wheelbase or as a rear-wheel drive model in the extended length version. The Express passenger van can be equipped to accommodate 8 to 15 people with several convenient options available. The Express Cargo van provides an excellent base for a multi-purpose utility vehicle and can be nicely equipped to suit your comfort needs or equipped with several cargo space modifications to suit your workplace requirements.

For 2008, the Chevrolet Express offers different standard engines and different optional radios and electronic information displays. Side curtain airbags are also standard on the passenger vans.
