No long highways trips so far, but fuel milage average is 27.8 indicates 33 or better on flat highway. I highly recommend buyers hold out for model with backup camera in rear view mirror as rear view is poor for backing. My Husband and I purchased our 2010 4 cyl Equinox,in mid July, We went on a road trip and got 28.9 mpg..We love the comfort and the leg room.. very quiet, only thing I did notice is by accident I put a back window down a little and the pressure in the car made my ears feel like they would burst.. I bought my Equinox about a month ago. I like the style(love those ice-blue gauges), versatility(NBA sized leg-room), fit and finish(everything looks great), and technological sophistication ( direct injection and 6-speed automatic) that Chevy put into this vehicle at a very competitive price.
