I had a Toyota for many years and thought I would never go back to an American made car. Then I found the Aveo. I did a lot of research before I bought and I'm glad I did. You get great gas mileage, good handling, front and side airbags, 5-star crash rating all for under 9,000 dollars. I feel confident driving around with my toddler. The only draw back is that the seats are a little uncomfortable on long trips and I think my shocks are going already. Other than that we love ********* cute …

Love the car! Ejoy the mileage

We've only had our Aveo a little over two months. We bought it used, it had only 19,000 miles on it. As for the long run, I can't say. But I can say that at this point we LOVE our aveo! We get 30 miles per gallon city driving, my husband is a real stickler about checking gas mileage. I was surprised at some of the other reviews. We just returned from a trip in the Smokey Mts and it did great. We had a 4 wheel drive Nissan frontier before that loved gas, of course our little Aveo couldn't compare…

This car has to be one of the worst places I have put my money. The interior is uncomfortable for more then a trip to the grocer. At 22,000 miles it needed 4 new tires. The dealer tried blaming it on lack of care. HA! I saved the tires, waiting on the Chinese recall. I cancelled my GM credit card account and have vowed I will never buy another GM Product, I will spend a little more but get a lot more from service and quality.

Max mpg was 27.4 (one time).On average 24.5-25 mpg.Overall handling and ride acceptable.Dont like timing belt change at 60,000 mi.
