2003 Cadillac Escalade EXT Overview
Introduction
The Escalade EXT is a versatile combination SUV/truck that can quickly be converted from a pickup with an enclosable 8' bed, to a five passenger luxury vehicle.
The third-row seat that comes standard in the Escalade has been removed from the EXT in favor of a lined, lockable and enclosable pickup bed with a manual folding mid-gate and a removable rear window. The EXT also comes standard with stability control, remote start, and side curtain airbags. Some new options include: 22-inch chrome wheels, a rear-view camera, and power running boards. The EXT is powered by a 6.0L V-8 engine, which produces 345 hp @ 5200 rpm and 380 lb-ft @ 4000 rpm, and is matched to a 4-speed automatic transmission. The 2003 Cadillac Escalade EXT also comes standard with satellite radio, integrated navigation, and a rear entertainment package.NHTSA Frontal Crash Test
