2008 Buick LaCrosse Overview
Introduction
Sophisticated and modern, the 2008 Buick LaCrosse is a comfortable mid-size sedan with a classy, high-quality interior and confident, controlled handling.
Equipped with standard front bucket seats, the LaCrosse seats five and with the optional front bench, up to six passengers travel in comfort. The front-wheel drive LaCrosse is available in four trims: CX, CXL, CXS, and Super. The CX and CXL are powered by a 200 hp 3.8-liter V6 engine. The CXS is powered by a 240 hp 3.6-liter V6 and for power and economy the Super comes with a 300 hp 5.3-liter V8 with Active Fuel Management. All trims come with a four-speed automatic transmission. Safety features include antilock brakes and side-curtain airbags.
For 2008, the Buick LaCrosse gets a redesigned front end and a new Super trim.
