Bentley Continental GTC

Redesigned for 2012, the all-wheel drive Bentley Continental GTC convertible's styling updates include a more upright matrix radiator grille, a 'double horseshoe' rear profile, unique jewelled headlamps with LED daytime-running lights, 20-inch aluminum wheels, and an all-new handcrafted interior. The Continental GTC's revised, flexible-fuel 6.0-liter W12 engine produces 567 horsepower and 516 pounds-feet of torque (an increase of 15 horsepower and 37 pound-feet of torque) and sends power through a strengthened ZF 6-speed automatic transmission with Quickshift steering column mounted gearshift paddles. The standard all-wheel-drive system's power split now has a 40:60 rear bias for a significantly more sporting feel in terms of handling and mid-corner acceleration. Continuous Damping Control (CDC) constantly monitors the car's attitude and poise, adjusting the suspension settings hundreds of times a second to provide a remarkably supple ride at low speeds and increased control as speeds climb. Optional light-weight carbon ceramic brakes offer superior durability and reduce brake fade, where the brakes become less effective due to overheating in extremely demanding conditions.

This 4-seat convertible features a luxurious handcrafted interior with a large variety of custom trim options, including aluminum and numerous types of wood veneers. Heated memory power seats, now in a distinctive "cobra"-design for added comfort and enhanced rear cabin space, are standard. Premium grade leather and genuine wood trim are used throughout the interior. 21-inch aluminum wheels are available in chrome and painted finishes.

The Continental GTC's new infotainment system features a high-resolution touch-screen interface for navigation and infotainment functions, with a CD/DVD player, 30-gigabyte hard drive and SD card slot. A 16-speaker Naim for Bentley system, created exclusively for the Continental GTC by British specialists Naim, employs Dirac Dimensions digital signal processing. A rear reversing camera is also available. With the optional neck warmer feature, a discreet vent in the seat just below the headrest provides a stream of warm air to take the chill off a spring or autumn drive.
