2009 Bentley Continental GT Base Coupe Overview

The Bentley Continental GT is a luxury all-wheel drive coupe built in England. The more powerful and exclusive Continental GT Speed joined the Continental GT for 2008. The Continental GT?s 6.0-liter W12 engine produces 552 horsepower and 479 pounds-feet of torque. The Continental GT Speed features the same 6.0-liter W12, but generates 600 horsepower and 533 pounds-feet of torque. Both trims send power through a ZF 6-speed automatic transmission with steering column mounted gearshift paddles. Continuous all-wheel drive, traction control and stability control are standard equipment. A navigation system, Bluetooth, Sirius satellite radio, multi-zone climate control, heated memory power seats are standard on all trims. Premium grade leather and genuine wood trim are used throughout the interior. The Continental GT Speed features a dark chrome grille, lowered sports suspension, 20-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, and diamond-quilted leather seat facing and trim.

This 4-seat coupe features a luxurious handcrafted interior with a large variety of custom trim options, including aluminum and numerous types of wood veneers. Several wheel styles in chrome and painted finishes are available. Optional light-weight carbon ceramic brakes offer superior durability and reduce brake fade, where the brakes become less effective due to overheating in extremely demanding conditions. A rear reversing camera is also available.
