2006 BMW Z4 3.0i 2dr Roadster Overview
The BMW Z4, which replaced the Z3, has shaken if not rocked the sports car world, mostly with its dramatic styling. Nicknamed the 'land shark,' the Z4 excels in the areas of engine, transmission, ride, handling and brakes.
The Z4 comes in three different models: 3.0i roadster, 3.0si roadster, and 3.0si coupe. The coupe is a hard top version of the Z4. Inside the Z4 seats 2, its dash panels are wood or brushed aluminum, and leatherette upholstery is standard. The 3.0i model is powered by a 215 hp 3.0-liter engine and the 3.0si is powered by a 255 hp 3.0-liter engine. Both engines are controlled by a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.
For 2006, the BMW Z4 is redesigned mid-cycle.
